Kailasagiri hill is famous for its cave temple of Lord Shiva, it is one of the weekend gateways around Bengaluru.  This place is around 85 Kms away from Bengaluru, nearest town is Chintamani and just 10 kms from Kaivara.

Kailasagiri Hill is a scenic viewpoint located near the city of Kavalaganahalli, Karnataka. This natural attraction is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including lush greenery and hills. Visitors can enjoy the serene environment while exploring various walking trails and nearby attractions. A notable feature of the hill is the impressive statue of Lord Shiva and Parvati, which adds a cultural element to the site.

There are three shrines inside the Kailasagiri Temple, which are dedicated to Lord Shiva, referred to here as Chathurmukha Lingeshwara (which means four-faced, and Lord Shiva’s face is etched on the four sides and is one of a kind), Sri Jagadambe (Goddess Parvathi) and Sri Vallabha Ganapathy (Lord Ganesha).

Kaivara is another famous place to visit very near to Kailasagiri – which is just 7 kms from here. Kaivara Tatayya Lived here.

Ambaji Durga Anjaneya Temple one must also visit it is just 3 kms from Kailasagiri and it is 800 Years old Temple , here it needs a proper maintenance including Road access to the Temple.

ಕೈವಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಲಾಸಗಿರಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೈವಾರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಮೀಪವಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಂತ ಕೈವಾರ ತಾತಯ್ಯ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವಾಲಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

 

ಕೈಲಾಸಗಿರಿ ಕೈವಾರದಿಂದ 7 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಭೂದೃಶ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಹೆ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ವಿಹಂಗಮ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. 

 

ಇದು ಸ್ವತಃ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ 80 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲು ನೆಲೆಸಿದವರು ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾರಣ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳ ಬಹುದು.
