The Temple has 3 entrances on the east side. One can reach the shrines for God Vishnu and God Brahma by entering through the
central gate.The shrine is glorified by the celestial songs of Appar, Sundarar and Sambandar the great saints of Saivism.

The 63 saints of Saivism (Nayanmars), Vigneswara and Umamaheswara, the sand-Linga improvised and worshipped by Agasthya, and Lord Subramanya with Valli and Deivayanai have all niches of their own in the outer prahara.The inner prahara houses the idols of Lord Nataraja and Goddess Sivakami.

Lord Vishnu is known here as Veera-Narayana Perumal or Ananthasayanam (Vishnu on Adi Sesha) , other idols are Hanuman, Vibhishana, Paravasudeva, Narada, Sri Devi, Bhudevi and Garuda. To the right side of the shrine is the idol of Thirumangai Nachiyar.

There are also people selling Mud or sand made small idols one needs to hold in hand & take a dip on cauvery by chanting
: OM BRAHMAYA NAMAHA : 3 times and leave the respective idol along with one old cloth into the River.
Here one needs to buy male idols for Males and female idols for Females.
